Long leash – for what?

The length of the leash is important for the dog to explore the world stress-free while walking – it is both a way for his entertainment and a means to keep his mind sharp. A longer leash allows your pet to sniff around without pulling on the leash and inviting you into every interesting puddle. At the same time, with a strong leash, control is always in your hands to protect both your pet and others from unexpected encounters.

Kullakuu leashes are available in 4 lengths – 2, 3, 4, or 5 meters. 3 meters is the minimum recommended length to ensure that the walk is more of a highlight of your and your dog's day, rather than a major hassle. The 2-meter leash is designed for walking on city streets, allowing you to keep your dog close to you. The width of the leash for small and medium dogs is 9mm regardless of the length, while the width for large and very large dogs is 19mm. The product images depict a leash that is 19mm wide. Please choose the correct size based on your dog's size when ordering (see instructions here). Depending on the size of the dog, we will select the appropriate fastening elements for the leash – smaller and lighter for a small dog, and stronger according to the strength of a larger dog. If your dog's size is not available for this leash, you will definitely find something suitable in our remaining collection .

Give your dog the opportunity to enjoy walks safely and calmly. We recommend using only suitable harnesses when walking your dog, not a collar, to prevent injuries and to control your dog safely. When attaching the leash to the harness, be sure to use only the attachment located on the back.

Material

If you like leather leashes but are worried about their durability and maintenance, you can rejoice because we have found the perfect solution for you. Kullakuu leashes are made from BioThane material, which is used everywhere durability and strength are needed. This material is water-repellent, does not absorb odors, and cleaning it is easier than you can imagine. Take your dog on adventures through mud, sand, and forests without worrying about having to wash the leash when you get home. Just take a slightly damp cloth and wipe it down, and you are ready for the next adventure. BioThane looks very similar to real leather, but in terms of properties, it exceeds all expectations.
